The renowned Bangladeshi author Humayun Ahmed (13 November 1948 – 19 July 2012) wrote the Misir Ali Series. Humayun Ahmed is a writer, filmmaker, and screenwriter from Bangladesh. Almost 200 of his fiction and nonfiction works were best-sellers. One way to describe his literary style is magical realism.
A fictitious doctor named Misir Ali. He is tall, skinny, and black. He teaches psychology part-time at the University of Dhaka and is quite clever. People seek psychiatric therapy from him despite the fact that he is not a licensed psychiatrist due to his expertise and particular interest in parapsychology. He cracks puzzles, yet he never takes payment for them. He is a fairly rational individual who disbelieves in paranormal activity. He keeps a private journal called UNSOLVED. He discusses the puzzles in his diaries that he was unable to solve. Books in the Misir Ali series are broken up into three sections. We call them Misir Ali Omnibus. In the tale "Himur ditiyo prohor" by himu, Misir Ali makes a brief cameo.
